Join us Saturday, October 14th, for the 2nd Annual United Way 5K. This Run/Walk begins and ends at the United Way of Tri-County, 46 Park Street/Framingham. The 3.1 mile chip timed course is fully supported with water stops and route support, and will take participants through Framingham and past Farm Pond with all the beautiful colors of fall. Participants of all levels are welcome to join us for this fun-filled event.
Start time is 9:00 am and runners and walkers can register online at http://www.uwotc.org/5k. The first 200 participants to register will receive a long-sleeve race shirt.. Awards for top male and female overall, and top male and female in several age divisions will be given. Prizes will also be awarded to top fundraising team and individual. Money raised will benefit three critical United Way programs including the Pearl Street Cupboard and Café and Marlborough Community Cupboard, Ready to Read early literacy program in Framingham and Milford, and Call2Talk, the statewide mental health/suicide prevention call line.
