A tough and beautiful 30K mountain race. Bear Pete Mountain is the towering peak above Burgdorf. Its namesake, "Bear Pete" was a legendary local bear hunter with a habit for biting off more than he could chew, then spinning tales of heroism at the taverns. Like Pete, you will get worked over by this mountain. Then, while soaking in the hotsprings and swilling McCall Brewing Co Ales, tell your tale of conquest. So, are you going to TALK about it...or BE about it?
