Join us for the 10th annual Brookhaven Family Run for Duchenne muscular dystrophy on Saturday, November 4, 2017! The family-friendly event includes a 5K run/walk, 1-mile kids run, as well as a 40 and 100-yard kids' dashes.
Please also join us for our 7th annual Family Fun Night/Race Packet Pickup on Friday, November 3rd from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. beside the Brookhaven Clubhouse. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets and enjoy a family-friendly movie, dinner and popcorn under the stars! T-shirts, race numbers and chip timers will be ready so you can skip the lines Saturday morning.
FREE CHILDCARE will be provided for children ages 6 and under in the Brookhaven Clubhouse during the race. Reservations required. Please email email@example.com before November, 1st with parent/child name, gender, age, cell phone, allergy info, etc. A wristband system will be used to ensure maximum safety. Of course, we will still have plenty of fun for the little ones before the 5K starts with the 1-mile fun run, as well as the 40 and 100-yard dashes!

Course Beginning at the clubhouse, the 5K will tour through the rolling hills of Brookhaven, one of Weddington’s most sought-after club neighborhoods. A fun, yet challenging course, the Brookhaven 5K would be great preparation for those training for the Thunder Road half or full marathon in November.
