Are You Struggling to Raise Fit and Healthy Kids in a Crazy-Busy World?
Doesn't it seem sometimes that life is so hectic, we neglect the things that matter most - our own family's health and fitness?

That we're trying to live fit and healthy lives, but feel we're at the mercy of junky school lunches, fast food commercials and video games?
That there are so many confusing and contradictory studies about healthy eating, exercise and stress that we just throw up our hands and give up?
If you want to grow a Fit Family in today's crazy world, you've come to the right website.
Hi. I'm Howie Jacobson, director of FitFam.com, where you'll receive guidance and support in mastering the three pillars of family health: Wheee!, Ahhh!, and Yummm! (What am I talking about? Keep reading.)

To take advantage of the site, I recommend you begin by downloading the FitFam Action Guide, "How to Raise Fit Kids in a Crazy-Busy World" (it's free, unlike a set of matching cherry wood napkin rings and candlesticks, and it's easy, unlike trying to unlock the front door while holding two bags of groceries and a screaming toddler). Just enter your name and email below and click "Send me the Action Guide."
You'll also receive the FitFam Tip of the Week, a short written or audio or video sharing the best strategies I know for feeding kids healthy food they'll love, encouraging joyful exercise sessions, and gearing down and relaxing to beat the stresses that all of us experience.
Support in Growing Your Own Fit Family without Guilt or Battles
Growing a Fit Family is one of most exciting, fun and rewarding things you can do in life. It's about being creative, spontaneous, joyful, energetic and unspeakably cool (unless you, like me, prefer to be unspeakably square most of the time, just to embarrass your kids.)
Here's what I'm talking about:
Wheee!

Instead of grabbing workouts at the gym early in the morning or late in the evening, you will re-learn how to "play out" with your kids. Some of my best playouts involve playgrounds, fields, sidewalks, and kids. And not just competitive sports, either. It's the most devilishly satisfying "multi-tasking" - you and your kids getting fit and having fun together. That's "Wheee!"
Ahhh!
Instead of spending our whole lives at top speed, caught in the mindless momentum energy of the treadmill of our habits and expectations, you'll reclaim the power to gear down, relax, breathe deeply, and savor the wonderful moments of your life. You'll learn quick and easy Stressbusters that you can share with your kids. You'll learn how to parent peacefully, even when you feel like wringing their necks! That's "Ahhh!"

Yummm!
Instead of eating "whatever" - whatever the school cafeteria or the local takeout place serves - and instead of spending hours preparing "health food" that nobody wants to eat, you will discover how to create real food- food created for us by God, not a team of chemists in Bayonne, New Jersey - in minutes a day. You'll learn how to transition your family's taste buds to where junk food simply isn't an option for them. That's Yummm!
Partly, growing a Fit Family is about specific skills and practices. Partly, it's about knowledge. And partly, it's about a fun-loving and playful mindset. While the topics are serious, I seldom am. If you're easily offended, this probably isn't the site for you.
Congratulations in advance on taking this simple and massively meaningful step towards greater fitness, health, vibrancy, and joy - for yourself and your entire family. It's not only possible - it's the way we are meant to live!

PS You might be thinking, "My partner and kids aren't going to let me mess with the way they eat, so why even try?" Listen to what one reader discovered when she overcame her skepticism and read the Action Guide:
I am so relieved that there is someone "sane" (oops, that seems kind of harsh but it comes from a lot of frustration) when it comes to exercise and nutrition.
I could so very much relate to what you were addressing in the first few pages of the fitfam guide about how industry/corporations/media misinform people.
My email is not intended to be a putting down one but more my showing of relief. It becomes hard to stay active and keep eating healthy when everybody else doesn't even seem to be aware that a peanutbutter and jelly sandwich is not healthy but a dessert!
So, thank you for your action guide. We haven't actually started but at least we've agreed on a basic plan (2 wraps a week for lunch and 4 evenings of the litte workout).
Looking forward to your newsletters with tips for nutrition as this "cooking for a whole family" is very new to me and different from "I'll just fix myself a salad" since that seems way too "adventurous" for the two Pizza and Steak Boys!
